A Great Humanitarian

A dear friend of mine, Dr. Lambert, just returned from Haiti and helping those hurt in the earthquake. Dr. Lambert took all of his medical supplies and medications to help the people of Haiti. Sadly, many more medical supplies and medications are needed for all of the infections and ongoing medical care the people need.

Below are photos he was able to share and the stories behind them:
"THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR PRAYERS DURING MY TRIP FOR ONE WEEK TO PORT-AU-PRINCE TO BRING MEDICAL CARE ATTENDANCE TO THE POOR PEOPLE THERE, I HAVE SEEN SOME HORRIBLE CASES HURTED MY HEART BUT GOD KNOWS EVERYTHING AND EVEN THE WORLD IS GIVING ALOT OF HELP BUT THE POOR PEOPLE DOESNT RECEIVE ANYTHING YET, PEOPLE WITH INJURY,WOUND,TRAUMA WITHOUT ANY MEDICAL ATTENDANCE. "
THIS LADY WAS VERY HAPPY AFTER ALMOST ONE WEEK SHE COULD RECEIVE BY ME MEDICAL ATTENDANCE.
HOW MANY CHILDREN WITH INJURY WITHOUT ANY MEDICAL ATTENDANCE WITH ALOT OF PAIN , LEG BROKED , TRAUMA. FOR THAT REASON IAM VERY HAPPY GOD GAVE OPPORTUNITY TO GO TO HELP THEN DIRECT AND THANK YOU TINA AND ROB FOR YOUR ECONOMICAL SUPPORT DURING MY HUMANITARIAN HELP IN PORT-AU-PRINCE. Godspeed, Dr Lambert

Out of Site - Out of Mind

~

Are you a part of the problem or a part of the solution?

Since the devastation of Haiti is no longer a headline does this mean the problems from the earthquake two weeks ago have been fixed?

What has happened to the people in Haiti will not go away just because the headlines are gone. Erasing them from our memory doesn't erase the problem.

The people of Haiti, the children of Haiti...still need you.

Please don't forget them.

Donations Coming

I just heard that we have 10 shipments of supplies on their way down for Haiti. I'm so excited!!! My friend, Jeff Baker, and his team are on their way down to take all the donations to Haiti. This is such a good thing for these people. If you have any items you can get down her by Friday, e-mail me. Thank you, Jeff and Juliette, thank you!

The World Comes Together

United We Stand, Divided We Fail
We are One World

The below photos show how our world is coming together.

Russia

Peru

Sri Lanka

Haiti

French & Bulgaria

Dominican Republic
Mexico

Australia

Canada

Brazil

After looking at these photos of countries, people and languages all coming together for the greater good of our world, I'm wondering why we have wars.

Déjà vu ~ 6.1 Aftershock Shakes A Crumbling Nation

What more can happen to an already shaken nation...but an aftershock of 6.1. Déjà vu! There's almost nothing left to fall in this desperate country.

The World Food Program said more than 250,000 ready-to-eat food rations had been distributed in Haiti by Tuesday, reaching only a fraction of the 3 million people thought to be in desperate need.

The WFP needs to deliver 100 million ready-to-eat rations in the next 30 days, but it only had 16 million meals in the pipeline. I'm not sure about you, but I can't imagine 16 million meals let alone 100 million meals. Where is all this food needed going to come from?

If there is ever a time and a world that needs to come together and help one another...that time is now, that place is Haiti. We are all one people, we must help each other in what ever way we can. We cannot think borders, we cannot think color, we cannot think politics or wealth...we must think people. People, please dial the $10 pledges to your cell phones, donate to the Red Cross...make sure it is market for Haiti Relief...do it today. Godspeed.
