Purpose

I live two hours from Haiti on the island of Hispanola, in the Dominican Republic. Through this blog I hope to communicate what is truly happening in this country devastated 2 years ago by 4 hurricanes and tropical storms (within one week's time), leaving thousands missing or dead. Now, they have been hit by probably the worst disaster on earth in any of our lifetimes. Haiti needs help in so many ways. Hopefully, through this blog you will find information and/or a way you can help.
